HELP CHILDREN GET EMERGENCY HOSPITAL AND SURGICAL CARE

Many More Children Need Emergency Care
IN SASKIA'S MEMORY
Little Saskia Joseph lost her battle with brain cancer. But her family
remains grateful for all the help that Hands Up for Haiti was able to
give them. Each year more than a hundred children who come to our
clinics require a hospitalization, surgery, or other specialty care at
one of our partner hospitals. The average cost for this care is $500-1000. With her family's consent, we have renamed our Child Emergency Hospitalization and Surgical Fund to honor the memory of Saskia, who captured all of our hearts this past spring.
For nearly 15 years, Hands Up for Haiti has worked against the inequities of the healthcare system in Haiti to provide the best care we can to children and their families. Our belief as always:
No child should die from a treatable illness because of where he or she was born.
